A probe has been launched after two vehicles were 'wilfully' set on fire this week.
Around midnight on Tuesday, February 13, officers were called to a report of a van and car on fire on Chatton Walk in Coatbridge.
Emergency services attended and the fires were extinguished.
Cops have confirmed that the fires are being treated as wilful and are now asking anyone with information to come forward.
Detective Constable Billy Murray said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have information to contact us.
“We also ask anyone with private CCTV of the area at the time to come forward.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 0006 of Tuesday, February 13, 2024. Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
