COPS revealed they are keeping an 'open mind' amid two very similar horror attacks in the same street.
The first incident took place on Friday, February 9, at around 11.35pm on Colquhoun Drive in Alexandria.
We previously reported that a 39-year-old woman was punched in the head outside a home when a man and woman approached her.
After the shocking assault, the pair nicked the woman's phone.
999 crews were called and the woman was rushed to hospital to be treated for a head injury.
Just four days later, a second incident took place on the same street at around 7.10pm where a man was left injured following an attack.
During the shocking ordeal, the 73-year-old was approached from behind by another man who assaulted him and nicked his wallet before heading in the direction of Bowie Road.
Following both attacks in the same area, police revealed they are keeping an 'open mind' with regards to them being linked.
