A child was rushed to hospital after a hit and run near Ibrox.
Officers say the incident took place on Dumbreck Road in the city on Wednesday, February 14, at around 10.05pm.
During the horror accident, a six-year-old boy was crossing the road when he was hit by a vehicle which had turned left from Paisley Road West.
Following that, the motor failed to stop.
The car involved is described as being a mid-sized dark-coloured hatchback.
After the crash, the youngster was taken to the hospital where medics said his injuries were minor.
During the incident, police say the area was busy with people on foot and vehicles following the nearby football fixture at Ibrox.
Now, officers are urging anyone who has information about the car involved to report it as soon as possible.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Those with information should contact Police Scotland on 101 and quote incident number 2367 of February 14.
"Information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
