SEVERAL Glasgow salons and make-up artists have been crowned winners at a major awards ceremony.
The Scottish Make-Up Awards 2024 took place on February 11 at the Doubletree by Hilton in the city.
The awards aim to celebrate the masters who create 'luscious looks and provide top class services and treatments, using innovative products and techniques'.
Here are all the salons and artists in the city that won awards:
- Make-up Salon of the Year (South West) - Jenny Workman Hair & Makeup Artist (Glasgow)
- Make-up Salon of the Year Overall Winner - Jenny Workman Hair & Makeup Artist (Glasgow)
- Make-up Team of the Year (South West) - ONYX Makeup & Beauty (Glasgow)
- Freelance Make-up Artist of the Year (South West) - Adele Hall – Adele Hall Make-up & Beauty (Glasgow)
- Creative Make-up Artist of the Year (South West) - Skye Kerr - SK makeup (Glasgow)
- Bridal Make Up Specialist of the Year (South West) - Jenny Workman - Hair & Makeup Artist (Glasgow)
- Bridal Make Up Specialist of the Year (Overall Winner) - Jenny Workman - Hair & Makeup Artist (Glasgow)
- Lash Extension Specialist of the Year (South West) - Art by Antonia Robertson (Glasgow)
- SFX Artist of the Year - Lisa Good – Blue Moon Face Painting & Body Art (Glasgow) - Highly Commended went to Heather Ross – Heather Ross makeup (Glasgow)
- Make Up Influencer of the Year - Molly Gardner - Miss Molly’s Beauty (Glasgow)
- Best Make Up Salon – Glasgow - Muse the Studio - Highly Commended went to Jenny Workman Hair & Makeup Artist
- Ethnic Make Up Specialist of the Year - Highly Commended went to Zazo Beauty (Glasgow)
A spokesperson for the Scottish Make-Up Awards 2024 said: “It was another fantastic evening where we were able to honour the truly exceptional make-up industry in Scotland, and it’s an honour to recognise and celebrate the talent and dedication of the professionals who make it so remarkable.
