999 crews raced to a busy road after receiving a report of a 'big bird swanning' around yesterday.
Officers say they were alerted to the bird-stopping traffic on Woodlands Road in Thornliebank on Thursday, February 15.
A multi-agency response, including police and the SSPCA, then raced through traffic to the incident.
Following that, the caring teams managed to bring the 'situation under control'.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "On Thursday, February 15, multiple reports were received of a 'big bird swanning' around Woodlands Road Thornliebank, stopping traffic.
"A multi-agency response, including SSPCA and Police Scotland, fought through the traffic and brought the situation under control."
