The opening date for a brand-new Lush spa in Glasgow city centre has been revealed.
The cosmetics giant previously opened its brand new flagship store on Buchanan Street in December, spread over three floors with a fourth-floor spa expected to open in 2024.
Now bosses have revealed that the spa space will be unveiled to the public on March 1, 2024.
To coincide with the launch, the team has revealed details of a new treatment they will be offering to customers at the spa - which is inspired by Scotland.
The Highlands is a full-body hot stone massage featuring Highlands spring water, and stones carved with ancient Scottish symbols.
Described as ‘magical’ and ‘like entering another world’, the treatment is choreographed to a soundtrack of Gaelic historical folk songs.
Jordan Bates, Lush Glasgow's spa manager, said: "The whole team here is so proud to showcase such a fantastic treatment celebrating the beauty of Scotland.
"The Highlands is a wonderful massage that is really effective at easing tension in the body with the use of hot basalt stones, and their warmth is so soothing and rejuvenating.
"My favourite part of The Highlands is the journey you go on with the treatment, it being choreographed to such an emotive soundtrack.
"It encompasses some of the myths, legends, nature and landscape of the beautiful Highlands and having it sung in Gaelic makes you feel so rooted in the rich history of Scotland."
The Highlands launches exclusively at the brand new Lush Spa Glasgow City and Lush Spa Edinburgh on March 1 before launching in all Lush Spas nationwide in autumn 2024.
