A daughter has branded a meal served to her father in a Glasgow hospital an 'absolute disgrace'.
In a post shared to Twitter/X, the woman, known as Lara, shared a photo of an unappetising-looking slice of meat and four roast potatoes swimming in a transparent gravy.
She said it was given to her dad, who is a patient at the city's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, for his lunch on Sunday.
The food served is understood to be outsourced by the NHS from a different company.
Lara wrote: "This is the lunch served up to my father in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Glasgow today. An absolute disgrace. Disgusting."

The post has since gone viral and received over 31,000 likes and 6000 comments from others who agreed that the meal was 'disgusting'.
One wrote: "That’s disgusting. Not one green vegetable on the plate either."
Another said: "Bloody awful."
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde apologised to Lara and added that, while they aim to provide patients with 'fresh, healthy and appetising' food, they agreed that this meal 'has fallen below' standard.
A spokesperson said: "NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is committed to serving fresh, healthy and appetising food to all our patients, and all meals served at our hospitals are prepared in-house to meet strict nutritional standards.
"However, on this occasion, the food we have served has fallen below the standards we set ourselves, and which patients should be able to expect, and we apologise to the patient involved and their family.
"We would encourage anyone who would like to discuss their meals to get in touch with our catering team who can quickly resolve any issues."
