A man has been arrested after 'lots of police' were spotted in a Glasgow street.
Reports on social media claimed a heavy police presence was in Wellhouse Crescent in the city's Barlanark on Sunday night.
Officers confirmed that they had been made aware of a concern for a person report.
When they attended, a 31-year-old man was found near the scene and taken to hospital.
The same man was arrested in connection with other matters and the force revealed that they are continuing to investigate the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.40pm on Sunday, February 18, 2024, we were called to a report of concern for a person at an address on Wellhouse Crescent, Glasgow.
“Officers attended and a 31-year-old man was taken to hospital.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
"The same man was also arrested in connection with unrelated matters.”
