A suspect is to stand trial accused of the murder of a young Celtic supporter.
Francis McConnachie, 35, allegedly killed Thomas O'Rourke in Coldstream Crescent, Wishaw, Lanarkshire on February 24 2023.
It is claimed the 21-year-old was repeatedly punched, sat upon as well being struck with a knife.
Mr O'Rourke is further said to have suffered "blunt force trauma" to the head "by means unknown".
McConnachie faces separate charges of assaulting Mr O'Rourke on the same date as well having two knives.
The case called for a hearing at the High Court in Glasgow, where lawyers pleaded not guilty on his behalf.
A trial was set for November this year.
After his death, Mr O'Rourke's family had called for a tribute by asking fellow Celtic fans to applaud him during the 21st minute of the club's Viaplay Cup Final against Rangers.
