A man attacked his grandfather, including stomping on his head.
Police arrived at a home Glendale, in the city's East End, just before 2pm on May 13, 2023.
They saw three people inside the property, involved in an altercation.
Officers spotted Mark Robertson, 26, strike a man's head. This was in court revealed to be his grandfather.
Robertson was shouting aggressively. Cops walked up to him and took hold of him. They managed to contain him and he was arrested.
He said: “I will f**king do you."
He was put in a van and continued to be aggressive, stating: “I will f**king shoot you”, “Fenian c**ts” and “I will go back there and do him”.
Due to his state of intoxication, he was not formally charged.
The victim was taken away in an ambulance but did not sustain serious injuries.
Robertson appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on his birthday this week.
His lawyer said: "He shows remorse and regret towards his grandfather.
"He is in full-time employment.
"It’s also worth noting that he lived with his grandparents since the age of 12, which affected the relationship. He now has his own tenancy."

Sheriff Michael Hanlon said: "I have to take into account that you have no previous convictions but this could have easily led to serious injuries."
Roberston was sentenced to 12 months of supervision and 108 hours of unpaid work.
He was also fined £315 - plus £20 victim surcharge.
The sheriff told him: "If you fail to comply, there will be prison time imposed on you."
