Three people including two teens have been charged after 'lots of police' were spotted on a busy street near Glasgow.
Police say they were called to an alleged disturbance on Scott Drive in Cumbernauld on Tuesday, February 20, shortly after 1pm.
Emergency crews then raced to the scene and two teenage boys, aged 13 and 14, along with a 37-year-old woman were arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
Meanwhile, following it, another 15-year-old boy was also arrested in connection with the alleged disturbance.
Reports on social media suggested there was 'lots of police' in the area during the ordeal.
Following the incident, cops have said that an investigation into it remains ongoing.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Around 1.10pm on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, we were called to reports of a disturbance on Scott Drive, Cumbernauld.
“Officers attended and two male youths, aged 13 and 14, and a 37-year-old woman were arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
"Reports have been submitted to the relevant authorities.
“A 15-year-old male youth has also been arrested in connection with the incident and further enquiries are ongoing.”
