A man in The Shed nightclub slapped a woman on her bum in an effort to get her attention.
Mark Hamilton appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court last week, accompanied by his wife.
He approached two women on the main dance floor of the Southside venue around 1.30am on December 17, 2021.
The 35-year-old slapped one woman's bum as he was trying to speak with her.
In response, both clubbers shouted at Hamilton, asking him why he did that.
He stood next to one of the women and she shoved him away and told him to leave them alone.
Hamilton, of Rutherglen, was escorted downstairs.
At 1.55am, two on-duty police officers were called to attend the incident and he was cautioned and arrested.
He was taken to Cathcart police station and charged. He made no reply.
Two other police officers took over to process him.
Hamilton said to them: “Maybe I slapped her a**e or something but I don’t know if I did”.

He appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Cort this week after pleading guilty.
His lawyer said: "He attended court today with his wife. She said she has dealt with the actions of her husband. She is angry. She and her family found this situation difficult.
"He is an intelligent man. He has real regret. The consequences of his actions will haunt him.
"In this day and age, this should not be tolerated.
"The report is very positive. His conviction will not have an impact on his employment. He spent a lot of time on the internet, checking the consequences of his actions.
"His motivation appears to be to get her attention, not sexual. He is aware it is a serious matter."
Sheriff Joan Kerr said: "I accept entirely that your actions had very difficult consequences. This must have been a humiliating experience for the woman.
"The report accepts that your actions were not for sexual gratification. Still, this is completely unacceptable."
Hamilton was sentenced to six months of supervision.
