A trio of cute rescue cats are on the hunt for outdoor homes after spending their early years in a home overrun with felines.
Cats Protection Glasgow Adoption Centre has taken in a number of cats from one household, finding many of them 'scared and stressed' by any human interaction.
The shy black-and-white trio are Matthew Purry and Jude Paw who are both four years old, while Travis is around one year old.
According to Cats Protection, it is unlikely they will be comfortable living in a normal family set-up, however, farms or properties with outbuildings or shelters where they can be left to their own devices while still being fed, watered and protected by their owners would be 'ideal'.
The charity says in time the fury friends may 'become happier to interact with humans but there should be no expectation of them ever being lap cats'.
Kim Fleming, the centre manager said: “These poor cats have not had the best start in life, and while we are doing our best to care for them while they are with us, a bustling adoption centre is not the best place for them.
“Not all cats are comfortable around humans and it is often our job to find homes for those that don’t fit the typical profile of a moggy curling up on their owner’s lap.
"But these cats still deserve to find a place where they will feel safe and secure, with an owner overseeing their health and well-being.
“Often with these types of cats, their natural instincts kick in and they turn out to be excellent pest controllers, earning their board keeping the rodent population in check!”
