Specialist cops have seized nearly £20,000 in cash after stopping a motor near Glasgow.
Officers say they stopped the vehicle on Farmeloan Road in Rutherglen on Friday, February 23.
Following that, police conducted a search of the car and driver and allegedly discovered £18,000 in cash.
The money was seized under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Local officers stopped a vehicle on Farmeloan Road in Rutherglen on February 23, 2024, and carried out a search of the vehicle and the male driver.
"£18000 cash was recovered and seized under the Proceeds of Crime Act."
