Tributes have poured in for a much-loved Glasgow teacher who sadly passed away.
Mrs McDonald, who was a PE and Depute Head Teacher at St Margaret Mary's Secondary School in the city's Castlemilk, tragically died recently.
Paying tribute to the kind-hearted teacher, the school's PE department posted a touching tribute on social media following her funeral.
In the post, the St Margaret Marys PE department said: "Today (Wednesday, February 28) we said goodbye to a St Margaret Mary's legend - Mrs McDonald.
"Mrs McDonald was a PE and Depute Head Teacher in St Margaret Mary's until 2003. God bless."
After posting the touching message, tributes flocked in for the caring former teacher.

One said: "Sorry to hear this.
"She was certainly a big character when she helped out on supply over the years and the young people valued and respected her."
Another said: "Very sad to read this.
"She was a great teacher and a very nice person too - thoughts with her family."
While another added: "Sad to hear this. What a character.
"Still makes me laugh when I think of her jumping out of the side window to catch pupils smoking or having loads of confiscated skip hats pinned to her office walls like trophies.
"Hard but fair with a soft centre and caring side as well. RIP."
