A popular pub in Glasgow has reopened following a major investment.
The Brockburn, formerly known as The Pollok, on Brockburn Road in the city, reopened on Friday, February 23, following refurbishment works worth £340,000.
Inside, the venue has been completely redecorated with an updated bar and lounge area to create a 'warm and inviting atmosphere'.
Outside, the pub has been given a 'vibrant and modern look', including brand-new lighting and signage.
The pub is part of the Proper Pubs division at Admiral Taverns.
Margaret Drennan, operator of the Brockburn said: “Opening night was fantastic! It was amazing to welcome all our customers, old and new, back into the pub to check out its fresh new look and see what it has to offer.
"The feedback we’ve received from the community so far has been amazing, and we can’t wait to see them again soon!”
Matthew Gurney, Operations Director for Proper Pubs, said: “The refurbishment at the Brockburn looks fantastic and I’m delighted that the opening night was such a success!
"This stands testament to the team’s hard work who have done everything to make sure the pub will sit at the heart of the community. On behalf of the Proper Pubs team, we would like to wish Margaret every success for the future in making the Brockburn a vital community hub.”
