Comedians are set to host one of their shortest shows by telling jokes in a lift.

Josie Long and Chris Forbes are among those to perform at Glasgow's Vega bar lift a week before the Glasgow International Comedy Festival (GICF).

The iconic disco lift is set to host the shortest shows of the upcoming Glasgow International Comedy Festival (GICF).

Celebrating the countdown to the festival, the comedians along with Sad Girls Club, will perform in the lift on March 6, between 5pm to 7pm.

The unique comedy showcase kicks off a week before the official GICF starts on March 13.

The festival, which will run until March 31, will have international acts joining the best comedians from across the UK and Scotland.

GICF comedians will take over Vega’s disco lift, serving non-stop jokes while ascending from the first to the seventh floor.

Comedians will spend 30 minutes at a time in the immersive disco lift.

There will be a neon-lit décor, a ten-pin bowling alley, a disco lift, and a top floor bar and restaurant at YOTEL Glasgow.
