A proposed new Lidl store in Glasgow is to be even bigger than previous plans.
The supermarket giant has submitted a fresh planning application to build a shop at the corner of Dalmarnock Road and Springfield Road in the East End.
In 2021, the company asked for permission to develop a site with a sales area of 1265 sq m and 113 parking spaces.
Glasgow City Council approved this in November 2022 but work has not yet started.
Now, the new bid contains plans for a 1336 sq m shopping site and 99 parking spaces.
The total size of the planned development has also slightly increased.
In front of the store, trees and a few green areas are planned, as well as two ponds.

Formerly used as a bus depot, the land is currently unused and derelict.
The area has no discount food store so the new shop would fulfil a local need, according to a council planning report.
A decision on the upgraded appeal is expected by Friday, April 12.
