Police have provided an update after a man was brutally stabbed outside an Asda store over a month ago.
We previously reported that 999 crews raced to the supermarket in Hamilton on the evening of Saturday, January 20.
During the ordeal, a 21-year-old man was knifed in the vicinity of the shop.
He was then rushed to hospital after the shocking attack.
Currently, no arrests have been made by cops, it is understood.
Now, the force has revealed an investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 7pm on Saturday, January 20, 2024, police were called to the Mote Hill and Palace Grounds Road area of Hamilton, following the report of the serious assault of a 21-year-old man.
"The man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment, and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
