A man is due in court after an alleged disturbance in Cumbernauld this morning.
Cops were called to Glenhove Road around 10.55am and claimed they found a man in possession of a weapon.
The 29-year-old was arrested and charged in connection with the apparent offence.
He is due to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court on Monday, March 4.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.55am on Friday, March 1, 2024, police were called to a report of a disturbance in Glenhove Road, Cumbernauld.
"Officers attended and found a man in possession of a weapon. A 29-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
"He is due to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court on Monday, 4 March, 2024."
