A new dental practice has officially launched near Glasgow after a mammoth £1.1m project.
The new mydentist opened in Uddingston on Thursday after all dentists and staff were moved from two former sites to a new state-of-the-art practice.
Now located on Philip Murray Road, the new practice takes in 12,000 patients from the old sites on Old Edinburgh Road and Johns Road and appointments are now underway.
Patients can benefit from visiting a modern new practice and undergoing a greater range of dental treatments and technology, as well as improved travel links and wheelchair and disabled access.
The 18-month project has involved the construction of nine surgeries offering key services including NHS dental care, affordable private treatment options, hygiene, and cosmetic services such as whitening, teeth straightening and the mydentist smile makeover.
mydentist Uddingston is also accepting new patients under {my}options mydentist’s affordable private dental offering, where users can access private check-ups, essential dental treatments, and cosmetic dental treatments at affordable prices with check-ups costing just £49.
Laura Ward, mydentist's area development manager, said: “We’ve been working very hard to relocate to a more accessible site in Uddingston, so to see the new practice finally open is fantastic.
"With 9 modern surgeries we now have much more choice for patients, plus our team are benefitting from improved facilities.
"Our aim was to meet the needs of our patients and our team here in Uddingston now and in the future, and feedback so far has been extremely positive.
