Part of a major Glasgow motorway has been closed due to an emergency incident.
Traffic Scotland has said lane two of the southbound carriageway of the M80 at Junction 3 is currently closed due to a vehicle smash.
Police are currently on the scene dealing with the accident.
Now, the travel firm has advised drivers to take care as there is 'lots of surface water' in the area.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “About 11.25am on Thursday, March 14, 2024, we were called to a report of a one-car crash on the M80 southbound near to Junction 3.
“Officers attended and there were no injuries reported and recovery was arranged for the car.”
