A young man has tragically died after an incident at a property in Glasgow this morning.
Officers say they were called to Birness Drive in the city's Southside shortly after 6am today.
They received a report a man was injured after falling from a window at a property.
999 crews raced to the scene including police and ambulance.
Following that, a 21-year-old man was taken to hospital for his injuries, however, a short time later he was pronounced dead.
The death is currently being treated as 'unexplained' and enquiries are ongoing.
A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “A 21-year-old man was injured after falling from a window at a property on Birness Drive, Glasgow, around 6.05am on Thursday, March 14, 2024.
“He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he died a short time later.
“The death is being treated as unexplained but not believed to be suspicious and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.”
