A woman has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car in Glasgow.
The incident took place on Lincoln Avenue in the city shortly after 1.30pm on Thursday, March 14.
Emergency crews, including police and ambulance, raced to the scene.
The accident involved a 71-year-old woman, who was a pedestrian, and a silver Ford C-Max.
Following this, the woman was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, the driver of the car was uninjured.
It comes after we reported residents on social media said there were 'lots of police' in the area during the crash.
Now, road cops are appealing for information following the incident.
Police Sergeant Robert Mackie of the Road Policing Unit said: “I would ask anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who may have dash-cam footage, and has not yet spoken to or provided this information to officers, to contact us as soon as possible.
“Anyone with information should call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1680 of March 14, 2024.”
