A man has been rushed to hospital following a 'serious assault' in the Southside of Glasgow.
The incident occurred at around 7.30pm last night within a property in Hollybrook Street in the Govanhill area of the city.
A 46-year-old man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment of a serious hand injury.
Cops confirmed that they have now launched an investigation following the disturbance.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police are investigating a report of a serious assault which occurred within a property in Hollybrook Street, Glasgow, at around 7.30pm on Thursday, March 14, 2024.
“A 46-year-old man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment to a serious hand injury.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.”
