A theatre legend who starred in a Glasgow panto has tragically died.
Taking to social media this afternoon, The King's Theatre and Theatre Royal in the city have said they are 'saddened' to hear of the passing of Peter Kelly.
While revealing the sad news, the venue said Peter, who was a 'legend of Scottish theatre for nearly 70 years' starred in their 2006 panto of Aladdin.
Announcing the news on social media, The Kings Theatre and Theatre Royal Glasgow said: "Everyone at The King's Theatre is saddened to hear of the passing of Peter Kelly.
"A legend of Scottish theatre for nearly 70 years, Peter starred in our 2006 panto production of Aladdin.
"He will be greatly missed, and our thoughts are with his family and loved ones.
