A major road in Glasgow has been closed due to an emergency incident.
Glasgow City Council has said Tollcross Road in the city's East End is shut between Westmuir Street and Helenvale Street due to a vehicle smash.
Mercy crews, including police, are currently in attendance at the incident.
It is unclear if anyone has been injured during it.
Road users are being urged to consider other routes.
Following the incident, the local authority has said Police Scotland has expanded closures around Parkhead Cross.
The following approaches are currently closed to traffic:
- Gallowgate at Springfield Road
- Duke Street at East Wellington Street
- Westmuir Street at Sorby Street
- Tollcross Road at Helenvale Street
