999 crews were called to a shocking fire attack in Glasgow on St Patrick's Day.
A fire was started within a driveway on Tormusk Drive in the city's Castlemilk at around 1.30am on Sunday, March 17.
Officers believe the intended target was the BMW parked in the drive, but the flames spread to the garden gate.
The brickwork of the house was also damaged in the blaze.
No one is believed to have been injured in the fire, which cops are treating as deliberate.
Officers are checking for any relevant CCTV from in and around the area and they are urging any witnesses to get in touch.
Detective Constable Declan Quinn-Thomas said: “I am appealing to local residents who may have seen or heard anything to contact us.
"You may have noticed something suspicious or saw someone hanging around, any small piece of information could prove vital so please do pass it on."
Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 0375 of March 17, 2024.
