A probe into the death of a child who died in hospital could be further delayed.
Freya Murphy passed away at Glasgow's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital on July 28 2018.
Freya's age and cause of death are currently unknown.
A preliminary hearing took place on Monday for the Fatal Accident Inquiry due to commence in May.
Fiscal Amanda Allan told Glasgow Sheriff Court that an expert neonatal report has been ordered by the Crown.
She said: "This should be with the Crown before the date of the next preliminary hearing in April.
"On the basis that the report is received and circulated between parties before the hearing the inquiry will start on the dates assigned."
Miss Allan also told the hearing that there are also a number of disputed issues between parties which are being discussed.
Sheriff Barry Divers stated that he believed "everything was prepared" in a previous hearing in December.
The sheriff said: "Clearly this is a potential problem for the inquiry and depends on what other parties decide to do."
Miss Allan stated that she hoped to have the report ready and circulated before the next hearing date.
The fiscal claimed that the information passed on for the report included witness statements.
The matter was continued by Sheriff Divers until the next date in April.
