Part of a major Glasgow motorway was left closed after an emergency incident last night.
Traffic Scotland says the westbound carriageway of the M8 was shut shortly after 11.30pm between Junction 29 and 29A after a vehicle smash.
Currently, it is unclear how many vehicles the accident involved or if anyone was injured.
The carriageway reopened shortly after 2.20am this morning (Tuesday, March 19).
Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
