An 'avoid the area' warning has been issued as a major Glasgow road is set to be closed for days.
Glasgow City Council has said Maryhill Road in the city's North will be shut from 8am on Saturday, March 30 until 6pm on Tuesday, April 2.
It will be closed between Queen Margaret Drive and Kelvindale Road to allow resurfacing works to take place.
Drivers are being urged to 'avoid the area' during the work.
They are also being told to expect delays in the area.
A diversion will be in place for motorists.
