A 'lot' of police taped off a Glasgow street after a woman was attacked.
Local reports told of a large police presence near Red Road and Barmulloch Road in the city's Barmulloch on Saturday evening.
The force revealed that they had been called to a report of an assault in the area.
999 crews raced to the scene and a 33-year-old woman was blue-lighted to hospital.
Officers are carrying out investigations to determine the full circumstances of what happened.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police received report of an assault on Barmulloch Road, Barmulloch, Glasgow, around 7.20pm on Saturday, March 30, 2024.
“A 33-year-old woman was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
“Enquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing.”
