A much-loved food outlet near Glasgow has sadly closed its doors.
Spicy Hut on Woodside Street in Coatbridge took to social media to announce the news recently.
In the post, the Indian-inspired takeaway said due to 'circumstances outwith' their control, they have had 'no choice' but to shut down the shop from Saturday, March 30.
The eatery said it has been a 'hard week' and it's not been 'easy' to walk away from the store.
Announcing the sad news on social media, Spicy Hut said: "Due to circumstances outwith our control we are sad to tell you all, we have no choice but to close down our shop Spicy Hut from yesterday (March 30).
"It has been a pleasure serving and having chats and laughs with all our regular customers every day for the past 11 months, myself and Jass haven't gone far - just five minutes away to Real Spice on 5 Rowan Place, Old Monkland.
"This has been a hard week for us.
"It’s not easy having to walk away from a shop we have worked so hard to build up and make people feel welcome every time.
"It’s been a pleasure and we have loved every minute of it.
"From everyone at Spicy Hut, we hope to see you again soon. Take care."

A second chimed: "Sorry to hear this. Will miss it."
While a third added: "So sorry. New month, a new beginning. Onwards and upwards."
