An event at a popular Glasgow park has been cancelled on the same day it was scheduled to take place.
Glasgow City Council has said today's (Wednesday, April 3) Highland Cattle talk at Pollok Country Park in the city's Southside has been axed.
However, the local authority has said the cattle are still in the paddocks at the park.
We previously reported the park was expecting a 'baby boom' of Highland cows last month.
A spokesperson for Glasgow City Council said: "Apologies, but today's talk at Pollok Country Park about the Highland Cattle has had to be cancelled.
"Sorry for any disappointment - the cattle are still in the paddocks though!"
