An urgent 'avoid the area' warning has been issued as a busy Glasgow road is set to be closed next week.
Glasgow City Council have said Darnick Street in North Glasgow will be shut between 8am on Sunday, April 7 until 6pm on Tuesday, April 9.
It will be closed to allow resurfacing works to take place in the area.
During the closure, drivers are being urged to 'avoid the area' and expect 'delays'.
A diversion will be in place for road users.
