GLASGOW City Council has announced today it has changed the date of an upcoming school holiday.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, the council revealed the in-service day taking place on Thursday, May 2 has now been changed to Friday, May 3.

Please note the in-service day for our schools on 2 May 2024 has been changed to Friday 3 May.

The council did not reveal why the date was changed.
In its post, the council also reminded carers and parents to keep an eye on revised dates.
