A NEW market event has been cancelled at the last minute and will no longer operate at a Glasgow park.
We previously reported the Market at Pollok Country Park would run in the Courtyard and on the Piazza at The Burrell Collection on the first Sunday of each month, starting on April 7.
More than 40 small businesses were scheduled to take part.
But organisers have axed today's market due to "unforeseen circumstances" and revealed they will not be moving to The Burrell Collection.
Plans are underway to find a new venue.
Bosses JSG Management said: "Bad news - due to unforeseen operational problems, we’ll no longer be moving over to The Burrell Collection.
"The market on April 7 has been cancelled.
"Please accept our sincere apologies, we know this will be a huge disappointment for all our customers, as well as the 40 small businesses who were booked in for Sunday.
"Good news - we’re already working very hard to find another suitable market site.
"Look out for updates soon."
