A yellow weather warning for rain has been issued for Glasgow today.
The Met Office has implemented the warning for the Glasgow and wider Strathclyde area until 10pm on Wednesday, April 10.
Some transport delays and disruptions can be expected, as well as spray flooding on roads, and homes and businesses being flooded.
The Met Office states: "Further rain on Wednesday may lead to some transport disruption.
"The morning will start dry and bright but will soon become overcast with rain spreading northeast.
"This rain will become persistent and heavy from late morning.
"Maximum temperature 13 °C."
For tonight's weather, the Met Office said: "Overcast with outbreaks of rain, some heavy, during the evening these becoming patchy and light later.
"The night will be very mild. Minimum temperature 8 °C."
