A MAN will stand trial accused of killing a woman by running her over at a pedestrian crossing.
William McKenna, 64, allegedly struck Morven Macaskill on the B050 in Bearsden on November 29, 2021.
Court papers state McKenna, of Paisley, was behind the wheel of a Fiat Panda while driving dangerously.

It is claimed that he failed to maintain proper observations and did not stop his car before the crossing.
The charge says the crossing displayed an amber then red signal.
Allegations go on to say McKenna failed to maintain proper control of the car and caused it to enter the crossing when it was unsafe to do so.
It is stated this caused the vehicle to collide with Miss Macaskill whereby she was so severely injured that she died of her injuries there.
McKenna pleaded not guilty on Wednesday to the single charge at the High Court in Glasgow.
A trial has been set for January next year by judge Lord Mulholland.
