Homes in Hamilton have been left in darkness following a power cut.
Scottish Power said those living in the ML3 postcode areas in the town have been hit by the issue.
The power firm said they had 'no advance warning' of it and were made aware of the issue shortly after 2.30pm.
It is expected to be restored at 4.30pm today - Wednesday, April 11.
A spokesperson for Scottish Power said: "There is a power cut affecting the ML3 postcode area of Hamilton.
"We had no advance warning of this and first became aware of it at 2.27pm.
"Our control centre will attempt to restore your electricity supply remotely, and we will also send our next available engineers to the area to find and fix the fault as quickly and as safely as possible.
"We expect the power to be restored by 4.30pm."
