The owner of an award-winning restaurant has spoken out after deciding to close it down.
Finsbay in Milngavie took to social media to announce the devastating news today (Wednesday, April 11).
It comes after we reported the restaurant was recently put up for sale.
It has entered the market and is being represented by agents Smith and Clough.

We also previously reported the eatery was forced to close to keep afloat during the cost-of-living crisis.
It closed in January last year but we later reported it had to extend the closure.
Now, the owners have taken to Facebook to announce the venue is closing down.
In the post, they thanked all their 'loyal customers' for their support over the years - in particular during the Covid pandemic.
They also said in recent years the hospitality trade has been 'hit hard' and 'is now facing unprecedented challenges'.

Now, sadly, due to the issues, the owners have said they've been 'forced' to make the 'difficult decision' to put the venue on the market.
Taking to social media, Finsbay said: "Finsbay Milngavie – Closing down.
"First and foremost we would like to thank our loyal Finsbay customers for their unwavering support over the last eight years since we opened and expanded our business.
"In particular during the Covid pandemic.
"Sadly, in recent years the hospitality trade has been hit hard and is now facing unprecedented challenges within food prices, supply shortages and staffing making it highly difficult to sustain a business.
"With this in mind, we have been forced to make the difficult but necessary decision to put the venue on the market.
"We are extremely proud of the role our business has served in our community for the last eight years and we wish the next people all the best.
"We hope they receive the same fantastic support we have had.
"Do not fear, Fullbacks, Charlies Loft and Finsbay Flatiron in the West End will still be operating as normal and we will accept all online Finsbay vouchers in our other venues.
"If you have any queries do not hesitate to contact us Billy@finsbay.com
"Finally, we would like to once again ask people to consider eating, drinking and shopping locally when out. It really makes a huge difference.
"Thanks again for all the amazing support over the past 8 years and we hope to see you soon in our other venues."
