AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after a premises was deliberately torched in Airdrie.
The incident happened on Centenary Avenue in the town on Monday, April 8, at around 9pm.
Firefighters from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service tackled the blaze.
Now, cops are treating the fire as wilful.
On top of that, they are asking for anyone with information on the incident to come forward.
Detective Constable Carla O’Neill said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we are appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious to contact us.
“We would also be keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam or private CCTV of the area at the time.”
