A PLAN for flats and shops to replace a retail unit in Glasgow has been withdrawn after 20 objections.
As the Glasgow Times reported in February, site owner Heera Dean submitted the bid to transform the current structure on Haughburn Road in Pollok.
Documents revealed the two-storey block of flats would provide "affordable housing" and would have "no negative impacts on the area".

However, the plan received 20 objections and no statements of support from residents.
