A SUCCESSFUL rock band are set to host a concert in Glasgow - and it will include special guests.

Billy Talent will perform at the Barrowland Ballroom in the city's East End on Tuesday, June 18.

The Canadian group is made up of Benjamin Kowalewicz, Aaron Solowoniuk, Jonathan Gallant, Ian D'Sa and Jordan Hastings.

They are known for their hits including Red Flag, Fallen Leaves, Rusted from the Rain, Viking Death March and many more.

Following the release of their self-titled debut album in 2003, Billy Talent have "cemented themselves as a generation-defining rock band".

Throughout their career, they have sold nearly one million albums in Canada alone and almost three million internationally.

On top of that, their albums have received multi-platinum certifications.

During their show in the city, they will be supported by SNAYX and Cold Years.
