A search has been launched for a missing man from East Kilbride amid 'growing concerns' for his welfare.
Derek Irving has been reported missing from Fortieth Avenue in the town on Tuesday, April 16.
The 38-year-old was last seen in the Langlands Moss area at around 1am on Wednesday, April 17.
He is described as being 5ft 10inch tall, with brown hair and brown eyes.
Meanwhile, he was last seen earing a grey/beige jacket, red and blue t-shirt, blue jeans and black trainers.
Inspector Ross Brown said: “Along with Derek’s family, we have growing concerns for his welfare and are appealing for anyone with any information on his whereabouts to come forward as soon as possible.
“You can contact police on 101, quoting incident 4175 of April 16, 2024.”
