A rare reconstruction of a fatal crash which led to the death of a cyclist is being carried out in Bearsden today.
It comes after we reported the incident that took place on Tuesday, March 19.
Una Brandreth from the Stafford area in England passed away following the horror crash on Manse Road at the junction with Drymen Road in the town.
The incident involved Una, who was a cyclist and a heavy goods vehicle.
999 crews rushed to the scene, however, the 56-year-old woman was tragically pronounced dead.
The lorry driver was uninjured during the accident.
Now, as part of the investigation into the fatal crash, investigation officers are carrying out a physical and digital reconstruction of it in Bearsden.
Police have said the families of those involved have been notified of the reconstruction.
Meanwhile, the force has also said Drymen Road will be open for the majority of it, however, a contraflow system will be in place which may cause some delay.

They previously said: “Una was a much-loved, sister, mother and daughter, and will be much missed by everyone who knew her.
“We are asking for privacy at what is a very difficult time for us all as we come to terms with our loss.
“We would like to say that we are massively grateful to all the emergency services that were involved in this tragic incident and to everybody else that stopped to help Una.”
Sergeant Chris Hoggans said: "This reconstruction will enable us to fully establish the cause of the collision which led to Una's death.
"My thoughts remain with her family, and we continue to appeal to anyone with any information or dash cam footage to get in touch."
