A manhunt is underway after a cop car was hit by a vehicle - leaving two officers injured.
Police say they were called to a disturbance at a property on Deveron Crescent in Hamilton shortly after 9.30pm on Wednesday, April 17.
While at the incident, the force says a patrol vehicle was struck by another car.
Following that, two officers - who were inside it - suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital.
However, the motor that was involved in the smash was then abandoned and the people in it made off on foot.
The force has said the occupants of it are yet to be tracked down.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “We were made aware of a disturbance at a property on Deveron Crescent in Hamilton shortly after 9.35pm on Wednesday, 17 April.
“A police vehicle was struck by another vehicle while attending the scene.
"The two police officers in the vehicle suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital for assessment.
“The vehicle involved was then abandoned and the occupants made off on foot.
“They are yet to be traced and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
