Armed police were spotted on a Glasgow street following a serious assault.
Officers were called to Lincoln Avenue in Knightswood just after 5pm today.
The force confirmed that a 39-year-old man was taken to hospital and an investigation was launched.
A video shared on social media has captured the emergency response.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.10pm on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 officers were made aware of a serious assault at Lincoln Avenue, Glasgow.
"Emergency services attended and a 39-year-old man was taken to hospital by ambulance.
"Enquiries are ongoing.”
