A cyclist is in hospital following an alleged hit-and-run on a Glasgow road.
The 'serious crash' happened around 6.10pm on Wednesday, May 1 and apparently involved the cyclist and a black Ford Fiesta near the junction with Arngask Road on Drumoyne Road.
Emergency services say they attended and the cyclist, a 47-year-old man, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
The Fiesta allegedly did not stop and was traced nearby in Kennedar Drive. The occupants, a 21-year-old man and a 19-year-old man were also reportedly traced.
The 21-year-old, the driver, was arrested.
Cops confirmed that enquiries are now ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
Sergeant Jack Swindells said: “We believe there were a number of people around at the time of the crash and we are asking anyone in the area at the time who can assist with our crash investigation to get in touch.
“We are also asking people to check their private CCTV and dash-cam footage and contact us if they have anything that could help with our enquiries.”
