Now, it has been revealed that West Regent Street between Holland Street and Pitt Street will be closed from May 7 until August 9.
The same working days and hours apply for West Regent Street as the others.
The work is part of the Holland Street Avenues Project, which aims to transform the city centre's streetscape and public realm - making it more "people-friendly", attractive, greener, sustainable and economically competitive.
The West Regent Street closure will allow for road re-alignments and re-construction, as well as resurfacing.
The proposed diversion route will be via Holland Street, Sauchiehall Street and Pitt Street.
